Skolight is a study workspace. Bring the lectures, readings and slides you already have, and it turns them into notes, practice and a tutor that has read every page.

Why we built it

Most study time goes into making things to study from. Skolight makes them from your material, so the time goes into studying.

Rewriting lecture notes, turning a chapter into flashcards, hunting for practice questions that match your course: it all has to happen before the real work of understanding and remembering can start.

Skolight does that part from the sources you already have. You bring the slides, the readings or the recording; it makes the notes, cards, quizzes and mock exams, and gives you a tutor that answers from those same sources, with citations you can check.

How it works

    Upload PDFs, Word documents, slide decks, text, Markdown or LaTeX. Paste a YouTube or web link, or plain text. Add an audio file, or record a lecture as it happens. Scanned pages are read with OCR.

    Choose a format and Skolight builds it from your sources, at the length and difficulty you pick.

Principles we build by.

Grounded in your sources
Skolar answers from the material you add and shows where each answer came from. It doesn't search the web, so you always know what it read.
Your work stays yours
We don't use your study content to train our own models. Your files are encrypted at rest, and deleting your account deletes your study data.
Limits you can read
Every plan's limits are printed on the pricing page. Free needs no card, and top-up words never expire.
Understanding over shortcuts
Quiz answers come with explanations, and a mock exam ends with a write-up of what to work on next. The point is to learn the material, not to skip it.
