Skolight keeps its use of these technologies minimal and focused on running the app.

How we use cookies

Essential

Required for Skolight to work. These keep you securely signed in and maintain your session. Without them, you couldn't log in or use your account.

Preferences

Remember your choices, such as light or dark mode and your color theme, so the app looks the way you left it. Several of these are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies. If you decline analytics, a small cookie remembers that across skolight.com and app.skolight.com.

Visit counting (no cookies)

To learn how many people visit our public pages and reach sign-up, we count visits without setting any cookie or storing anything on your device. See our Privacy Policy for what this records. Choosing Decline in the cookie banner, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, turns it off.

Payments

When you start a checkout or open the billing portal, our payment processor may set its own cookies to process the transaction securely.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by the third parties that help us run Skolight, such as our payment processor during checkout. Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies. See our Privacy Policy for the providers we work with.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in, so parts of Skolight won't work as expected.
